What we actually do
We are a group of merchant volunteers who give of our time to make all of this happen. Here's a glimpse into some of the things we have done.
1.
We promote the neighborhood to residents and visitors by planning and organizing fun community-focused events.
-
Working closely with the neighborhood to bring in a Farmers Market on Sundays
-
Art Walks, Clementime: Holiday Shopping Stroll, Small Business Saturday // Kids Edition, Halloween
2.
We advocate for the viability of small businesses and local merchants in our community.
-
Having a close relationship with the Supervisors Office to roll back redundant fees and permits
-
Communicating often with City representatives and the SF Council of District Merchants to be a proactive voice
3.
We make our neighborhood more beautiful.

4.
We keep our neighborhood safe. While residents are at work, we are here in the neighborhood seeing things happen in real time. We are committed to the Inner Richmond being a safe place to work and live.
-
Taking a lead on voicing resident and merchant concerns over scooter safety
-
Working with the Supervisors Office to identify crosswalks that need more measures to keep pedestrians safe
